We will never file a memo clouding the title on your house so you can’t sell to someone else.

If you sign a contract with someone they can stop you from selling your house to someone else, by filing a memo with the county saying they have a contract on your house.  and you either need to take them to court or pay them off to release the memo. We feel like this should be illegal but is not.  Make sure in any contract you sign they agree in writing not to file a memo saying they have a contract on your house.
